Many of our yarn qualities carry the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification. Yarns carrying the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification are not, however, completely organic yarns, but there are significantly stricter rules regarding the use of chemicals than what the current legislation in Denmark and the EU allows. Additionally, extensive consideration is given to the environment in production, so that greenhouse gas emissions are minimized, and wastewater is treated responsibly.
