Georgina has a unique character, highlighted by naturally varying shades that occur even within the same skein. The beautiful and shifting play of colors gives the yarn a lively and exciting expression, which arises from the combination of merino wool, lyocell, and multicolored linen fibers, together creating Georgina's unique personality. In the pictures of the knitting samples in Georgina, you can see how the quality's personality is expressed.

Premium Georgina is an exclusive, soft yarn with a beautiful play of colors. It is spun from pure high-quality fibers in Italy. Georgina has some lovely, alluring colors and a beautiful mottled expression, which comes from the fiber composition. The yarn is single-ply and spun from a wonderful combination of the finest merino wool, lyocell, and linen. The content of multicolored linen fibers adds extra play of colors and effect to the beautiful yarn. The yarn is certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100.

Lyocell is one of the fibers of the future and also known under the brand name TENCEL™. Lyocell is a shiny viscose fiber based on organic and renewable wood fibers, often from eucalyptus trees. These are converted into long fibers that can subsequently be spun into soft, durable yarn. The production of lyocell fibers takes place in a gentle and environmentally friendly process in a closed loop, where the production materials are reused.

With a Knitting gauge of 20 m x 28 rows, Georgina can be used for many different designs. It is particularly good for simple knitting, such as garter and stockinette stitch, where the color play will really come into its own. It is ideal for soft clothing, such as a sweater or cardigan. Georgina can be used for both knitting and crocheting on needles/hooks 4.5-5 mm, but knit/crochet a little tightly to avoid the yarn stretching too much after washing. Also be aware that the yarn should be hand washed and dried flat in shape.

Premium Georgina is available in 15 colors, all of which have the most beautiful color play. The yarn is part of the Mayflower Premium series, which consists of exclusive yarns of the highest quality, spun on natural fibers.
