Description

Mayflower Toronto is a 1-ply yarn made from 100% pure wool, spun in Italy.

Toronto's signature is the particularly beautiful colors that arise because a portion of the wool is black and therefore does not receive color. The result is wonderful, mottled colors that create a fascinating visual effect with great depth and play in your yarn projects. Toronto is not superwash treated, which also makes it suitable for felting.

As a 1-ply yarn, Toronto has a natural variation in thickness, which creates a lively and rustic expression in your finished knit. The yarn's structure makes it easy to knit evenly and achieve a uniform stitch pattern, making Toronto ideal, also for complex patterns.

Due to the wool's natural, heat-insulating, and moisture-absorbing properties, it is particularly suitable for clothing that needs to be used outdoors. At the same time, it is soft and comfortable to wear, and since Toronto is not superwash treated, the wool's natural properties are preserved, and it hardly absorbs any odor. Toronto should be hand-washed in wool detergent, but do not wash pure wool too often, often airing it out is enough.

    Toronto garn.

    Skønt og dejlig blødt garn. Det er i gang med at blive brugt til en halsedisse. Garnet er vamset og særdeles velegnet til vinter beklædning.
