Linen, which is a strong, beautiful natural material, works well with the other fibers in the yarn. The result is a beautiful and soft yarn that becomes even softer after washing. It is the flax fibers in particular that give Athena its slightly rustic look and contribute to the extra fine mottling. The linen content also helps to increase durability and keep your knitwear beautiful for a long time.

The yarn's fibers absorb color differently, creating a magical play of colors. The fine, soft pima cotton gives Athena its unique play of colors with deep shades. Athena comes in 20 beautiful and carefully matched colors. Some of them are spun with undyed cotton, which provides a unique contrast to the colored fibers of the yarn.
