1 Class is Mayflower's good, classic sock yarn. It is produced in Italy at a spinning mill that is highly specialized in sock yarn. The South American quality wool is combined with polyamide to achieve just the right balance between durability and warmth.

With 1 Class, you get an incomparable sock yarn spun from extra long wool fibers. This ensures that your home knitted socks will be durable and long-lasting. 1 Class is produced with mulesing-free wool, which is superwash-treated, so the socks are machine washable.

Mayflower 1 Class is a good and classic sock yarn spun from a traditional blend of 75% superwash treated wool and 25% polyamide. This fiber composition is optimal for sock yarn, as both fibers have good properties. The South American mulesing-free wool is of particularly good quality and feels comfortable against the skin.

1 Class spun for Mayflower in Italy, where the spinning mill has decades of experience in the production of sock yarn and where mam focuses on high quality throughout production. The yarn is also Oeko-tex certified.

There are many advantages to choosing 1 Class when knitting socks. The wool makes the socks wonderfully warm, while polyamide makes them durable. Both properties are very important when it comes to socks.
