The wonderfully colorful Mayflower Taormina is both soft and durable, as it is spun from the softest alpaca fibers. Through the large, fluffy ball, Taormina has one long, beautiful pattern repeat with color gradients in a striped pattern.

The continuous color change structure will leave you longing to get to the next color just to see the beautiful effect of the previous shade. The yarn is especially good for simple projects where the colors can be in focus. You often only need 2 balls for a sweater

Taormina

Mayflower Taormina is a beautiful yarn with a fiber composition that makes it both soft and durable, and Taormina has impressive color combinations. Taormina is spun at an Italian spinning mill using the softest and finest alpaca fibers. Alpaca wool is warm and breathable, and the alpaca content of the yarn means that Taormina is great to use for a warm sweater or shawl.

As impressive as Taormina's softness is, the colors of the yarn are just as impressive. The beautiful color combinations create a unique play of colors with a wonderful depth that makes Taormina extremely expressive.

Uniquely, the colors in Taormina appear as one long color shift in a unique pattern that alternates between stripes in bright shades and wider pieces with a more subdued play of colors. All colors are carefully selected and matched to give each key just the right level of contrast. There is room for many different colors in each skein of Taormina, and the different shades play beautifully against each other and complement each other well. You'll end up with a blouse, top or scarf in either knit or crochet that will go well with the rest of your wardrobe, as the finished result will automatically include several different colors.

The yarn consists of several different coordinated colors and is therefore extremely exciting to knit or crochet with. You'll find it hard to put the yarn down until you get to the next color. You just have to see how the colors mix and change. This makes the yarn ideal for slightly larger projects such as simple sweaters, long scarves and ponchos, where the focus is on the colors rather than the cable patterns, etc. The large 200 g balls have a running length of 700 m, so you often only need 2 balls for a sweater, for example.

Taormina is also perfect for knitted or crocheted interiors such as sofa cushions or perhaps a lovely blanket.

Fantastic experience.
Completely painless experience to buy yarn at Mayflower. My order was sent off quickly and I already had my package the next day. It was extremely cool when I had to use it as a gift!

Good experience in the webshop and great processing of complaints. In March I bought some yarn keys in the webshop. Super fast delivery and very delicious quality yarn: Cotton Merino.

I bought some yarn from the webshop, after getting really good guidance by phone. The yarn was really good. The problem was the delivery with DAO, which did not live up to the ordered. I wrote to mayflower To draw attention to it, and was called by the cutest lady who was fond of the feedback and compensated my wasted delivery costs. That's what I call really good customer service.
