Description

Easy Care Big is a lovely wool yarn in a classic 6-ply variant. It is the thickest yarn quality in the Easy Care series and consists of 100% pure high-quality merino wool. The wool originates from South America and the yarn is spun in Italy.

Easy Care Big is a durable, soft yarn for needle size 5, which can be used for knitted and crocheted projects for the whole family. It is easy to knit evenly and is therefore also suitable for multi-colored pattern knitting. The yarn is certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100.

    Jeg købte Easy Care Big i tre farver. I benzin, marineblå og rød. Jeg strikkede en sweater fra alle tre farver. Den i Marine er allerede færdig, er fantastisk at have på og er vidunderligt varm. Ulden var ekstremt nem og hurtig at strikke. Jeg er altid imponeret over den store kvalitet af Mayflower uld.

    Et dejligt og anvendeligt garn

    Kunne virkelig godt lide at strikke med Easy Care Big. Strikkede sammen med en tråd kid silk en spiralli sweater fra “Mens vi strikker”. Garnet gled let på pindene, var nemt at strikke med og strikkefastheden holdt. Har fået en rigtig fin sweater i en meget smuk himmelblå farve.

    Desuden var forsendelsen super hurtig og effektiv, hvilket var dejligt, da jeg løb tør for garn kort før jeg var færdig.

Mayflower Easy Care Big is a relatively strong wool yarn, spun in Italy with a focus on high quality. Mayflower's Easy Care series consists of three yarns, all spun from the same delicious merino wool. Only the thickness of the yarns varies, and here Easy Care Big is the thickest variant.

Easy Care Big is therefore often the popular choice when knitting a sweater with a strong structure, as the yarn feels both soft and comfortable to wear. Merino wool naturally has warm fibers, as wool fibers have air pockets that provide an insulating effect. Additionally, wool is an organic, breathable material that provides a comfortable warmth that the body can still regulate if it gets too warm.

Easy Care Big is especially popular in families where everyday life can be busy. The yarn can be machine washed and tumble dried, as the wool is superwash-treated, making it easy to keep clothes clean and ready for the next day. The many uses are also reflected in our selection of Patterns with Easy Care Big, where you especially find Patterns on sweaters, cardigans, warm accessories, and accessories. The yarn can also be recommended for lovely interior items. Here too, it can be a great advantage that everything can be machine washed.

Easy Care Big is delightful to work with, easy to knit evenly, and it comes in a wide variety of colors. It is particularly suitable for fair-isle and cable patterns. The shades range from natural colors to more vibrant and wild bright colors, so it is not difficult to find a color that fits your specific project.

With Easy Care Big, you first and foremost get wonderfully warm knitting/crocheting in pure natural materials. The yarn is easy to knit or crochet with, preferably on 5 mm and up. It is really good for warm knitting or cozy crocheted blankets and clothes, which will keep nicely for many years to come. The wool comes from South America and is therefore also mulesing-free.
