Angelina Jacket - Easy Care Style Pattern
Cool cardigan, which is made up of a lot of crocheted granny squares. Granny squares are a very manageable crochet project to embark on, as each individual square doesn't take long to make. The project is therefore easy to pick up and put down, and it's also perfect to take on a trip, as it doesn't take up much space in a bag.
When all the granny squares are crocheted, they are sewn together into a finished cardigan.
Pay particular attention to the crochet tension in each granny square. Make a crochet sample that you wash and block before measuring your Knitting gauge, so you are sure to get the right fit.
For this cardigan, you can play with exactly the color combinations you want. Each granny square consists of several rows, where you can advantageously change color in each row. If you use the same color in each row in all squares, you get a more monochrome look, and if you randomly switch between colors in each row, like in this model, you get a more vibrant expression. You therefore decide entirely what expression your Angelina cardigan should have.
Angelina cardigan - Easy Care Style is, as the name suggests, crocheted in the woolen Mayflower Easy Care. The cardigan is therefore also ideal to use as a transitional jacket, as Easy Care is a warm and soft yarn with good breathability. The yarn quality is not so thick, and your cardigan can therefore be used almost all year round.
