With this cozy and chunky cardigan, you're sure to stay warm while looking fabulous, as the sweater has the most beautiful ribbed details. The Rebild cardigan is worked from the top down with short rows.

Shoulder increases are worked in the yoke, where the rib pattern continues down the sleeves and creates a nice contrast to the rest of the sweater, which is worked in stockinette stitch. At the end of the sleeves, the rib pattern gradually increases, resulting in a nice triangular rib pattern that makes the Rebild cardigan stand out from other knitted cardigans. The sleeves have a nice balloon effect. The same ribbed triangle pattern at the front of the sleeves is also knitted at the bottom of the sweater, which creates a good connection and also gives the sweater a really nice and detailed finish. Finally, the sweater is finished with large buttons of your choice.

The soft and fluffy fullness of the Rebild cardigan comes from the yarn, as the sweater is knitted in one strand Mayflower Easy Care Classic and one strand Mayflower Super Kid Silk. Easy Care Classic is the medium thickness in the soft and woolly Easy Care series, and the tweed nubs give the yarn and the finished cardigan a little extra expression and a nice mottled shade.

Super Kid Silk adds a lovely mohair look. The combination of the two yarn fibers gives Rebild Cardigan a fantastic fullness, softness and light weight.
