HasmarkSweater Pattern
#HasmarkSweater is knitted top-down in reverse stockinette with the finest cables on the sleeves and in the sides of both the front and back pieces. The cables are a mix of long and short, which gives a beautiful effect, and the cables are very prominent in combination with reverse stockinette.
First, the back piece is knitted down to the armhole, after which stitches is cast on at the shoulders for first the right and then the left front piece, just as cables are knitted in the sides and reverse stockinette between the cables. The front pieces are joined and knitted further down to the armhole, after which the front and back pieces are joined. A wide rib edge is knitted at the bottom, and the neckline is also a beautiful rib.
stitches is cast on for sleeves in the armholes, and the beautiful cable work continues on both sleeves. The sleeves are finished with a wide rib.
#HasmarkSweater is knitted in the enormously comfortable Mayflower Amalfi, which is spun from 52% cotton and 48% viscose. The yarn has good weight and therefore gives the sweater a beautiful drape. The fantastic softness of Amalfi from bamboo viscose makes the sweater really lovely to wear and touch. Since both cotton and bamboo viscose are breathable and moisture-absorbing, the sweater is also good in the summer on warm days.
