This loose sweater is both light and elegant with its beautiful patent stripes. Patent is already a beautiful knitting technique, but here new possibilities are shown with patent knitting in the form of horizontal stripes. The stripes are created by alternately knitting 16 rounds of patent knitting and 4 rounds of rib, and the result is truly stunning. 

The sweater is knitted with 2 threads of Mayflower Super Kid Silk to give extra fullness. 

Super Kid Silk is light and soft, which gives the sweater its airy lightness. The width and the wide armholes make the sweater even more airy and comfortable. 

Even though the sweater is light and airy, do not be fooled. It is also pleasantly warm and can easily be used on cool days. Mohair yarn is generally characterized by being both warm and breathable. 

Note: The original design was made in Mayflower Super Kid Silk color 69, which unfortunately has been discontinued. As a replacement, we recommend color 93, which is similar to the discontinued color. Just be aware that you will get a different result than in the picture. You can choose the color yourself by clicking on 'Choose another color', which unfolds the entire color chart. 

Gauge: 14 sts and 17 rows with double yarn in brioche stitch on needle size 7 = 10 x 10 cm
