Pachira Sweater Pattern
The sweater is knitted from top to bottom. stitches stitches are cast on using Judy’s magic cast on, half of which form the back and the other half become the shoulders and neckline.
First, the back piece is knitted with short rows and then back and forth over the stitches. Next, the left and right shoulder pieces are knitted with short rows and increases for the neckline. The two shoulder pieces are joined to form the front piece, which is then combined with the back piece to form the body. The body is finished with a rib edge and an Italian bind-off. stitches stitches are picked up for the neckline, which is knitted in rib and knitted down before the stitches are bound off.
Finally, the sleeves are knitted. Short rows are knitted to create the shoulder slope before knitting in the round, and the sleeves are finished with a rib edge and an Italian bind-off.
