First and foremost, you can measure the size of both your knitting needles and crochet hooks. You can measure needles and Needles from size 2.0 mm up to 12.0 mm (US 0-17). Between sizes 2.0-4.0 mm, you can also measure e.g., 2.25 and 2.75 mm. If you can't get the knitting needle or hook into the hole, try a larger hole until you can get it through.
