Delicious and warm socks in rib knit and with a gusset heel in the lovely sock yarn Mayflower 1 Class. The ribbing on the shaft and on top of the foot gives the socks a nice character and is a pattern that is easy for everyone to knit once you get into the rhythm.

1 Class is Italian-produced sock yarn of high quality. It is spun from good South American wool and consists of 75% wool and 25% polyamide. This is the optimal fiber composition for sock yarn, as the wool provides warmth, and polyamide offers high durability. 

In other words, you get wonderfully warm and comfortable socks that can last a long time, as the yarn is spun with long fibers, which increases durability. 

Gauge: 28 stitches = 10 cm.
