Stripes are always an easy and obvious way to give a blouse a unique personality, which is why we haven't been afraid to experiment with the colors on this beautiful striped blouse. We have chosen a wide range of colors for the stripes, and there are both complementary and contrasting colors. This gives an incredibly beautiful effect, but it's not overwhelming as the stripes are relatively wide and therefore have fewer color changes.

This blouse is knitted in Mayflower 1 Class, which is one of our yarn qualities recommended for sock knitting, among other things. Mayflower 1 Class has a running length of 210 meters per 50 grams and also consists of 75% superwash treated wool and 25% nylon. The wool content means that the yarn is nice and warm, while the nylon content makes the yarn more durable, which is one of the reasons why the yarn is popular for sock knitting. However, it can also be used for knitted blouses, and you'll be happy to know that you'll get a blouse that's almost impossible to wear out. At the same time, you'll also get a blouse that isn't too thick, as Mayflower 1 Class has a relatively long running length.

You don't necessarily need to be an experienced knitter to make this blouse, and it's made easier by the fact that it has attached sleeves. Many beginners find this technique easier than, for example, raglan sleeves, so you can easily take on this knitting project. Mayflower 1 Class is available in a wide range of colors, so you're also free to create your own color combinations for this blouse.

NOTE: This design is part of our archive patterns. These may have been designed in discontinued yarn qualities or otherwise have lost their relevance. Please note that we unfortunately cannot offer support for patterns in the archive.
