Stripes are always an easy and obvious way to give a blouse a unique personality, and therefore we have not been afraid to experiment with the colors on this beautiful striped blouse. We have chosen very different colors for the stripes, including both complementary and contrasting colors. This creates an incredibly beautiful effect, which is not overwhelming, as there are relatively wide stripes and therefore fewer color changes.

This blouse is knitted in Mayflower 1 Class, which is one of our yarn qualities, recommended among other things for sock knitting. Mayflower 1 Class has a length of 210 meters per 50 grams, and it consists of 75% superwash-treated wool and 25% nylon. The wool content means that the yarn is wonderfully warm, while the nylon content makes the yarn more durable, which is one of the reasons why the yarn is popular for sock knitting. However, it can also easily be used for knitted blouses, and you can look forward to having a blouse that is almost impossible to wear out. At the same time, you also get a blouse that is not too thick, as Mayflower 1 Class has a relatively long length.

You do not necessarily need to be an experienced knitter to make this blouse, and it becomes easier, among other things, because it has set-in sleeves. Many beginners find this technique easier than, for example, raglan sleeves, so you can easily embark on this knitting project. Mayflower 1 Class comes in many different colors, so you also have the opportunity to freely compose your own color combinations for this blouse.

Note: This design is part of our archive patterns. These may be designed in discontinued yarn qualities or otherwise have lost relevance. We point out that unfortunately we cannot offer support on Patterns in the archive.
