There are infinitely many possibilities when it comes to texture patterns on knitted sweaters. However, this pattern is completely unique as knitted squares in purl stitches create an optical illusion that the cardigan has a circular pattern in knit stitches.

Besides the circular pattern, the cardigan also has a fine ribbed edge at the bottom, along the button band, and at the sleeves. The ribbed edge at the sleeves, however, is significantly wider and adds an extra detail to the cardigan's design.

The cardigan is knitted in Mayflower 1 Class, which is spun from wool and polyamide. 1 Class is actually known as sock yarn, but the quality allows it to be used for much more.

This Pattern is perfect for the slightly experienced knitter. A simple texture pattern with knit and purl stitches is used. The result is impressive, because even though the pattern is easy, you get a completely unique result.

Strikkefasthed: Horizontal: 28 stitches = 10 cm. Vertical: 40 rows = 10 cm.
