MAYFLOWERS SIZE GUIDE
(Valid for patterns created after September 1, 2021)
The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

If you dream of a thick and lovely sweater, then you have found the perfect knitting pattern. This sweater is knitted in Mayflower Cosmo, which is 100% wool and has a yardage of 62 meters per 50 grams. This makes it one of our most robust yarn qualities, and at the same time, it is also wonderfully warm because it consists of pure superwash-treated wool.
This sweater is incredibly lovely and perfect for lounging, but at the same time, it is also nice and stylish. We have chosen to design it with a nice and wide ribbed edge, which gives it personality, and at the same time, it also has raglan sleeves, which provide a diagonal seam from the underarm up to the collarbone. This seam is extra pronounced on this sweater because Mayflower Cosmo is a thick yarn that really highlights all knitting details in a flattering way.
We highly recommend this Pattern if you usually feel that it takes too long to knit a sweater. The work progresses particularly quickly due to the robust yarn quality, and furthermore, this Pattern includes no difficult details. You just need to ensure that your Knitting gauge is correct, as there is a greater risk of inaccuracy when knitting with thick yarn, and therefore you should also make a knitting sample first.
Note: This design is part of our archive patterns. These may be designed in discontinued yarn qualities or may have otherwise become outdated. We point out that unfortunately, we cannot offer support on Patterns in the archive.
