KnitPro Knitting needles and crochet hooks

All KnitPro wires can be used across the series of interchangeable circular needles. So you can easily have, for example, a needle 3.00 in Karbonz and a needle 4.00 in Symfonie and use the same wire.  

If you are unlucky and your Knit Pro knitting needle breaks, there is a 2-year warranty. This applies to manufacturing defects. Your complaint should be made to the retailer where you purchased your KnitPro knitting needles. 

The wire on KnitPro interchangeable circular needles is mounted through a thread in the needle, where they are screwed on. With the included tool, they can be tightened by inserting it through the hole in the wire and turning it around.

It is important that when attaching the wire, you hold onto the metal piece on both the wire and the needle to avoid twisting the needle in the process.

Many of the KnitPro series are available in different needle lengths. This is to create a better knitting experience when knitting on Circular Needle. 

The short needles can be used with a wire of 40cm - and thus used for example to knit sleeves. The long needles cannot do this, but they are easier to hold onto. 

On the fixed circular needles, the wire is attached between the two needles, whereas on the interchangeable ones it can be changed to another length. If, for example, different needle sizes are needed for your project, you can change the needle without having to knit from one needle to another. 

KnitPro has a range of different series of needles in various materials with different properties and advantages. Wooden needles are soft to hold and flexible and work particularly well with wool yarn. Metal needles are more durable than wooden needles. So both materials have their advantages and challenges. It is largely a matter of personal preference, so it is impossible to give a clear recommendation.

KnitPro has created a couple of series of needles that are particularly good for people with arthritis. These series have square needles where the grip is more comfortable. 

This is available in the KnitPro Cubics series and KnitPro Nova Cubics. However, we recommend KnitPro Cubics, as the wooden needles are warmer to hold than the brass needles. 

Nova Metal from KnitPro are knitting needles made of galvanized brass. This means that the galvanization can wear out after several years of use, causing the brass to oxidize.

You can use different sizes at each end of the wire. For example, if you knit tighter on the purl side than on the knit side (when knitting back and forth), you can advantageously go up or down half a size on one of the needles.
