The circular needles themselves are made from the very exclusive ebony wood. The wood comes from state-authorized timber warehouses and is sold in accordance with local and international laws. The strong and solid wood makes for a durable and long-lasting circular needle that will stand up to use. The wood is lightweight, so the circular needles don't weigh much in your hands, which makes for a great knitting experience. The natural material also feels warm and comfortable to the touch. The surface is smooth and fine, so the stitches and yarn glide easily.

The transition where the wire is attached is plated with 24 carat gold. The wires for the set are made of stainless steel and coated with nylon. The surface is therefore smooth and soft. The wires are also memory-free. This means that the wire does not twist or knot while knitting, which can be annoying, but with memory-free wires you won't have this problem.

Compared to fixed circular needles where the cable cannot be removed, interchangeable circular needles are more versatile as you can make the exact circular needle that the pattern requires. Therefore, you don't need to have much more than this set, as with 8 different circular needles and 3 different wires, you can make up to 24 different circular needles.

The included tension wrench should be used when changing the wire or needle. Screw the desired wire and needle together and insert the wrench into the small hole at the end of the wire. Hold the wire with one hand while turning the key with the other hand. When tightening, make sure that the needle and cable stay together while you knit. When it's time to release the needle from the cable, use the key again to loosen.

The Glory circular needle set comes in a soft zippered cover made from pure silk. The cover has plenty of room for circular needles, wires and other accessories. There is an embroidered pattern on the outside.
