The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

The sweetest baby cardigan with ruffles.
The sweater is knitted in garter stitch across from sleeve to sleeve. At the neckline, stitches is finally cast on for a garter stitch neckline. Ruffles are crocheted directly onto the sweater on the front piece, which gives a beautiful and feminine effect.
Note: The original design was knitted in Mayflower Cotton 1, which is unfortunately discontinued. As a replacement, we recommend Mayflower Alliance Fine. Always remember to make a knitting sample before starting the project to ensure that the knitting tension and thus the final measurements hold. Also be aware that you will get a different color expression than in the picture. You can always click 'Choose another color' and find the color you like the most.
