MAYFLOWERS SIZE GUIDE
(Valid for patterns created after September 1, 2021)
The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

This smart sweater has a boxy appearance, which gives the sweater a looser fit than the classic sweaters in the same style.
The sweater is knitted in brioche stitch, which gives the design a slightly elastic property, making the sweater extremely comfortable to wear. At the same time, the design has a number of unique details that create the perfect combination of being both classic and feminine. The very elegant leaf twist on the front and back helps to highlight the sweater's feminine expression, while the small fold at the neck creates a classic look. The sleeves are attached and maintain almost the same circumference all the way, where instead of ending with a traditional ribbed edge, the pattern is kept all the way to the end.
The sweater is knitted in Mayflower 1 Class, which falls under the traditional term 'sock yarn', as the yarn consists of 75% warm wool and 25% durable polyamide. However, the yarn can certainly be used for other types of clothing than just socks.
Note: The original design is made in Mayflower 1 Class color 2026. Unfortunately, the color has been discontinued from the range. As a replacement, we recommend color 11, which resembles the discontinued color. Just be aware that you will get a different result than in the picture. You can choose the color yourself by clicking on 'Choose another color', which unfolds the entire color chart.
