When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Smart cardigan with buttons, knitted in a simple pattern with great effect, which is very beginner-friendly.
The cardigan is knitted from the bottom up in pearl rib. First, a rib edge at the bottom and then pearl rib, which consists of knit on the right side and alternately one knit and one purl on the wrong side. There is a deep V-neck at the front and a fine, small rib edge all the way around.
It is knitted in the delicious, soft Mayflower Easy Care Classic, which is pure wool. This wool yarn also has the advantage that it can be machine washed and tumble dried, making it easy to clean and maintain in a busy everyday life. With this wool yarn, you get a warm and breathable cardigan that is good and comfortable all year round.
The cardigan can also be knitted in Mayflower Easy Care Classic Tweed, which has the same Knitting gauge. But always remember to make a knitting sample before you start.
