When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Fingerless mittens

Beautiful and comfortable fingerless mittens with a simple and decorative pattern. The mittens are easy to knit and are made with double-pointed needles.
The fingerless mittens are worked in the round from the wrist up towards the fingers. They are knitted in stockinette stitch with a pattern on the back of the hand and ribbed edges. The mittens are a good length and therefore warm around the wrist.
Wooly and luxurious Mayflower Amadora makes great mittens that you will love to use. They are warm without being too hot, so they can be used both indoors and outdoors, for example as office mittens. The fine yarn means that the mittens have a relatively thin structure and don't take up much space when you wear them.
