Great-grandfather sweater Pattern
The softest sweater in warm yarn, which can keep a little golden nugget warm in the stroller or on a cold day.
The Grandpa sweater is knitted from the bottom up. First in stockinette stitch, after which the work is divided into front and back pieces at the armholes and finished separately in a simple texture pattern consisting of knit and purl stitches. The sleeves are knitted separately and finally sewn into the armholes. Along the neckline, stitches is cast on for a rib edge. On one side of the neckline, a slit is made where a button is attached, making it easier to take the sweater on and off.
The Grandpa sweater is knitted with double thread consisting of one thread of Mayflower Easy Care Tweed and one thread of Mayflower Super Kid Silk. This combination provides a fantastic soft and cozy quality, making the sweater lovely and comfortable to wear. The tweed speckles give the sweater life and color play, just as the yarn comes in a lot of lovely colors. The sweater is easy to maintain. Since the yarn is superwash-treated, the sweater can easily be machine washed.
