The fiber composition is just right when it comes to warm socks, as there is a need for yarn with both warmth and high durability. The bamboo viscose content in the yarn also makes BumbleBee really soft and comfortable.

The yarn has unique print sequences in beautiful colors and is very entertaining to knit with. If you want to align the expression in the socks as much as possible, we recommend that you start both socks at exactly the same place in the yarn's print sequence.

Mayflower BumbleBee Print is a combination of superwash-treated wool, bamboo viscose, and polyamide. The yarn is thicker than classic sock yarn, making it suitable for good, thick socks that are knitted on needle 4. You will need 2 skeins of the thick yarn to knit a pair of socks up to about size 46 in stockinette stitch.

Normally, good sock yarn consists of a classic combination of wool and polyamide, but in BumbleBee Print, we have added bamboo viscose. The viscose is made from bamboo fibers and has some fantastic properties, making this sock yarn something special. Something you will notice as soon as you have it in your hands or on your feet.

Bamboo is a truly fantastic material that can be harvested at intervals of just a few months and does not require fertilizer. Pure bamboo viscose can almost feel like silk, and it is also said that bamboo has a natural antibacterial effect. In other words, the addition of bamboo viscose makes Bumblebee Print a wonderfully soft yarn. The socks are therefore not only warm and durable but also extremely comfortable. With the content of bamboo viscose, it is important to hit the specified Knitting gauge and not knit too loosely if you want to be sure to achieve the specified size.

BumbleBee Print has the finest patterns that gradually emerge as you knit, making it fun to knit a lot of socks. The patterns vary in the series and jump with five color numbers. This practically means that colors 1-5 have the same pattern, colors 6-10 have the same pattern, 11-15, 16-20, etc.

BumbleBee Print is created with the aim of making optimal sock yarn, which is both soft and durable. Both goals have been achieved, and the yarn has become so comfortable that it can easily be used for more than just knitted socks. The yarn can, of course, be machine washed for easy maintenance.
