Classic Santa hat - Pattern
A beautiful and warm Santa hat for both children and adults, which can help create coziness throughout the Christmas season. This version has extra length and a soft pom-pom as a finishing touch.
You can choose to knit a classic Santa hat with our solid color Mayflower Easy Care, or you can make a Santa hat with a little twist by choosing Mayflower Easy Care Tweed. Both are wonderfully soft yarn qualities that can withstand machine washing, so there's no problem having the Santa hat out throughout December.
You can choose from many different colors, whether you knit with Mayflower Easy Care or Easy Care Tweed. With Easy Care, you can choose a classic shade of Christmas red, or you can choose to make a different Santa hat in one of the many other beautiful colors or make a striped version in, for example, red and light gray.
With Easy Care Tweed, which has the most beautiful speckles, the Santa hat will have a different expression with lots of personality.
In the picture, the Santa hat is shown with a nice, soft pom-pom in faux fur. Alternatively, you can also make a pom-pom yourself with yarn.
