When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

A beautiful and warm Santa hat for both children and adults to help create a cozy atmosphere throughout the holiday season. This version is extra long and has a soft tassel at the end.
You can choose to knit a classic Santa hat with our solid colors Mayflower Easy Care, or you can create a Santa hat with a little twist by choosing Mayflower Easy Care Tweed. Both are wonderfully soft yarns that are machine washable, so you'll have no problem keeping your Santa hat out and about throughout December.
You can choose from a variety of colors, whether you knit in Mayflower Easy Care or Easy Care Tweed. With Easy Care you can choose a classic shade of Christmas red, but you can also choose to make a different Santa hat in one of the many other beautiful colors or make a striped version in red and light grey, for example.
With Easy Care Tweed, which has the most beautiful shades, the Santa hat will have a different look with lots of personality.
The picture shows the elf hat with a fine, soft faux fur tassel. Alternatively, you can also make your own tassel with yarn.
