A superbly soft sweater in a stunning faux cable pattern made with just a few simple knitting techniques. LillianSweater is designed by influencer Maria Møller.

The LillianSweater is worked from the top down. First, the front and back are worked separately back and forth, but after the armholes, the work is joined and worked in the round. At the bottom, work ribbing with a slit on each side, with the ribbing being worked longer on the back.

Cast on stitches in the armholes for the sleeves and cast on stitches in the neckline for a ribbed edge, which is to be folded over for fullness and a nice finish.

The LillianSweater is worked in three strands Mayflower Super Kid Silk. The combination of multiple strands in the soft, fluffy mohair yarn creates a sweater with an incredibly comfortable texture, and the yarn feels great against the skin. Multiple strands add volume, but because the yarn is so light, the finished LillianSweater is still comfortably light and airy.

Many of the lovely details in the LillianSweater can also be found in the other two Maria Møller designs - LillianSlipoor and LillianCardigan

18 sts on 4.5 mm needles in pattern 1 = 10 cm.
