Completely exquisite soft sweater in a fantastic pattern of mock cables, made with only a few simple knitting techniques. The LillianSweater is designed by influencer Maria Møller.

The LillianSweater is knitted from the top down. First, the front and back pieces are knitted separately back and forth, but after the armholes, the work is joined, and it is knitted in the round. At the bottom, ribbing is knitted with a slit on each side, where the ribbing is knitted longer on the back piece.

At the armholes, stitches stitches are cast on for sleeves, and stitches are also cast on in the neckline for a ribbed edge, which is folded over for more fullness and a nice finish.

The LillianSweater is knitted with a total of three strands of Mayflower Super kid Silk. The combination of multiple strands in the soft, fluffy mohair yarn gives a sweater with a completely fantastic comfortable structure, and the yarn feels lovely against the skin. Multiple strands provide good volume, but since the yarn is so light, the finished LillianSweater is still comfortably light and airy.

Many of the wonderful details in the LillianSweater can also be found in the two other Maria Møller designs - LillianSlipover and LillianCardigan
