Description

Mayflower Sock Yarn Universe is spun on a classic fiber mix of good South American wool and durable polyamide. This results in a strong sock yarn that can be knitted into warm, durable socks that withstand machine washing.

Socks knitted in Mars Sock Yarn do not yield two 100% identical socks, but you can control stripes and colors a bit if you start sock no. 2 at the same spot in the print as sock no. 1.

The Universe series consists of sock yarn with beautiful prints and colors. Each planet represents its own print sequence, available in different colors. The fun colors make the yarn a pleasure to knit with and result in both beautiful and soft, home-knitted socks. The yarn is certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100.

This yarn quality consists of superwash-treated wool from South America and polyamide. A high-quality sock yarn, as it ensures warm and comfortable socks. The wool is of good quality and particularly soft, while the content of polyamide ensures that the yarn is durable, which is an especially important feature for sock yarn, as knitted socks are typically subjected to more wear than other homemade items.

Sock Yarn Universe is wound in 50g, so you need 2 skeins of yarn to knit a pair of socks up to about size 46.
