Dandelion Cardigan has an incredibly fine leaf-like lace pattern on the yoke. The sweater is knitted top-down and is a manageable project to take on if you want to knit a nice cardigan for a child aged 3-24 months.

The lace pattern is simple and suitable for both boys and girls, and the sweater is knitted in stockinette with increases in the yoke and ribbing at the edges. The front edges are knitted on last, and buttonholes are made on the right side so you can subsequently attach small buttons.

Dandelion Cardigan is knitted in one of our finest and softest wool yarns in 100% merino wool, Mayflower London Merino Fine. The fine structure of the yarn, which is recommended for needle size 3 mm, makes it very suitable especially for baby patterns like this cardigan. The comfortable yarn is resilient and elastic, making it easy to move in, and it retains both elasticity and softness after washing. London Merino Fine can even withstand machine washing at 30 degrees and is available in a total of 40 different colors. Therefore, you can easily find colors that suit the recipient, whether the Dandelion Cardigan is intended for a girl or a boy.
