Description

Molly Fine is a pure, single-ply wool yarn, developed in collaboration with actress Molly Egelind. It consists of 100% untreated merino wool, which is only spun very lightly. This makes the yarn airy and soft, making it ideal for, for example, classic, warm sweaters and lovely interior items.

Molly Fine is a quality with many applications. Since it is non-superwash, it can also be felted into, for example, slippers, mittens, bags, etc. The yarn is also perfect for the enthusiastic knitter/crocheter who wants to see quick results, as it requires working with thick needles/hooks. The yarn is certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100.

    Dejlig blød og nem at strikke med, da den ikke splittes. Er så tilfreds med farven som de lidt bløde nuancer, der ikke bliver skarpe, men bløde.

Mayflower Molly Fine was developed in collaboration with actress Molly Egelind, who wanted to work with a yarn quality that was relatively thick without becoming too heavy. The result was Molly Fine, which consists of 100% pure, soft merino wool. The yarn is single-ply and only spun very lightly, thereby retaining the wool fibers' light and natural softness. The wool is mulesing-free and not superwash-treated.

That the wool is only spun very lightly is one of the primary reasons for Molly Fine's lovely properties. The yarn remains airy, and it is therefore possible to knit, for example, a thick sweater with beautiful structure or patterns, without the sweater becoming heavy or feeling cumbersome to wear.

Molly Egelind loves knitting with large needles, so if you want the optimal effect, we recommend that Molly Fine be knitted or crocheted on 6-7 mm. With thick needles or crochet hooks, the individual stitches stand out beautifully and lay evenly and nicely, leaving you with a delightful result.

Molly Fine is available in many beautiful colors, also selected by Molly Egelind. She has focused on choosing beautiful and timeless colors that can be used year after year. Many of the beautiful colors match perfectly, so it is also easy to create stunning color plays in pattern knitting.

Molly Fine is particularly suitable for clothing and interior. Since the yarn is untreated, it can be used for felting (fulling) of, for example, felted slippers, pot holders, bags, nets, baskets, or other lovely interior for the home.
