Mayflower Molly Fine was developed in collaboration with actress Molly Egelind, who wanted to work with a yarn quality that was relatively thick without being too heavy. The result was Molly Fine, which consists of 100% pure, soft merino wool. The yarn is 1-strand and only spun very lightly to maintain the light and natural softness of the wool fibers. The wool is mulesing-free and is not superwash treated. .

The fact that the wool is only spun very lightly is one of the main reasons for Molly Fine's wonderful properties. The yarn remains airy, making it possible to knit, for example, a chunky sweater with a nice structure or coins without the sweater becoming heavy or feeling bulky to wear.

Molly Egelind loves knitting on large needles, so for the best effect, we recommend knitting or crocheting Molly Fine on 6-7 mm needles. With thick needles or a crochet hook, the individual stitches will stand out and lay down evenly and neatly, leaving you with a beautiful result.
