Nora Sweater
The Nora Sweater is a classic sweater with the most beautiful balloon sleeves. Along with the great fit, you get a sweater here that is a dream to wear.
The sweater is knitted from top to bottom in a simple construction that eliminates the need for assembly. To provide optimal fit, it is knitted with saddle shoulders and short rows in the neck. Additionally, a beautiful finish is added with a folded rib edge at the neck and an Italian bind-off.
The Nora Sweater is knitted with one strand of Mayflower Birmingham and one strand of Mayflower Super Kid Silk. Our Birmingham has the most beautiful tweed effect, which is slightly muted by a fluffy mohair sheen when knitted together with Super Kid Silk. This gives a beautiful color effect that makes the Nora Sweater extra charming.
The pattern includes a number of different exciting knitting techniques, and the result speaks for itself. Also remember that you can continuously try on the sweater as you knit it from top to bottom. In this way, you can ensure that both the body and sleeves get the perfect length.
