As the name suggests, Merino Silk is spun from soft, extra-fine merino wool and lustrous mulberry silk. Mulberry silk is the absolute best and finest silk available, and the combination with extra-fine merino wool makes Merino Silk a truly magical yarn quality. The high proportion of mulberry silk gives the yarn its beautiful sheen and adds extra durability. The silk also gives the yarn a natural drape and beautiful drape to your knitwear, while the merino wool adds extra softness and a slightly woolly look. The fiber composition is second to none.

Merino Silk is ideal for fine and exclusive projects, both in knitting and crochet. The fine yarn quality is a classic 3-ply yarn that gives a beautiful, even stitch pattern.
