When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Knit a pair of wonderfully comfortable lounge pants in soft yarn that feels nice to wear.
The pants are knitted on 3.5 mm needles from the waist down. The pants are knitted in stockinette stitch with a folded edge both at the waist and at the ends of the pant legs. Finally, the pants are finished with a drawstring at the waist.
The pants are knitted in the wool yarn Mayflower Easy Care, which is thin, warm, and breathable wool, very suitable for a design like this. You will get a very comfortable pair of pants in a slightly elastic yarn that will keep you warm, and they are also easy to wash. The yarn can be both machine washed and tumble dried.
