Siggi Vest
The Siggi vest is full-bodied and soft and has several great design details, not to mention a wonderful play of colors from the yarn selection.
The vest is worked from the bottom up. First with a rib pattern and then in stockinette stitch with a narrow rib pattern on both sides. At the armholes, the front and back pieces are divided and finished separately with a rib pattern over the shoulders. Finally, sew the shoulders together and pick up stitches at the neck for a ribbed collar.
The Siggi vest gets its delicious fullness and structure from being knitted with 1 strand Venezia + 1 strand Casablanca Lux. It's knitted on 8 mm needles, so you'll see results quickly. Both yarns are wonderfully soft, which makes the vest really nice to wear. Venezia has a mottled color expression, while the fluffy Casablanca Lux has multi-colored tweed shades and a shimmering thread. And the combination of these 2 qualities gives a fantastic result that has to be seen and felt.
