When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Knitted wrist warmers

The wrist warmers are worked from the ribbed edge towards the fingers and are knitted with a thumb. A beautiful and decorative lace pattern is made on the back of the hand, which works beautifully with the tweed dots in the yarn.
The wrist warmers are knitted in the woolly and airy Mayflower Birmingham. As the quality is thin, it provides mittens with great mobility that are still warm and insulating to wear. Birmingham is therefore very suitable for a design like this. The yarn's many tweed shades and mottled look gives a really nice color expression. The fingerless mittens are therefore both comfortable to wear and beautiful to look at.
