The Viola sweater is a great combination of comfort and beautiful knit design. A simple sweater with wide double rib edges and a beautiful yoke.

The sweater is worked from the bottom up in stockinette stitch. The sleeves are worked separately and then knitted directly onto the sweater. This makes it completely assembly-free and easy to work. The simple sweater has a remarkable yoke with a beautiful lace pattern that works perfectly with the airy yarn, giving the lace pattern a nice and strong structure. 

The sweater is knitted in one strand Mayflower Easy Care Classic Tweed and two strands Mayflower Super Kid Silk. The fibers give the sweater plenty of soft volume and a light and airy feel.

The Viola sweater is an ideal project if you want to make a seamless sweater that is knitted from the bottom up. The simple lace pattern on the yoke is the most challenging element, but you don't need to be an expert knitter to knit this sweater.
