Viola sweater
The Viola sweater is a beautiful combination of lovely comfort and beautiful knit design. A simple sweater with wide edges in double rib and a really nice yoke.
The sweater is knitted from the bottom up in stockinette stitch. The sleeves are knitted separately and then knitted directly onto the sweater. Therefore, it is also completely assembly-free and wonderfully easy to make. The simple sweater has a remarkable yoke with a beautiful lace pattern, which is perfectly suited to the airy yarn, as the lace pattern gives a beautiful and strong structure.
The sweater is knitted in one strand of Mayflower Easy Care Classic Tweed and two strands of Mayflower Super Kid Silk. The fibers provide plenty of soft volume to the sweater, making it feel light and airy.
The Viola sweater is an ideal project if you want to make an assembly-free sweater that is knitted from the bottom up. The simple lace pattern on the yoke is the most challenging element, but you don't need to be a knitting expert to knit this sweater.
