Mayflower Sock Yarn Universe is spun from a classic fiber mix of good, South American wool and durable polyamide. This creates a strong sock yarn that can be knitted into warm, durable socks that withstand machine washing.

If you want a very uniform look in the socks, you can control the stripes and colors in the yarn's print a bit by starting both sock 1 and 2 at exactly the same place in the print.

The Universe series consists of sock yarn with beautiful prints and colors. Each planet represents its own print sequence, available in different colors. The fun colors make the yarn a pleasure to knit with and result in both beautiful and soft, hand-knitted socks.
