The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Cardigan with pockets
A simple and comfortable cardigan, knitted in the soft Mayflower New Sky. The cardigan is long and pleasantly warm, and additionally has practical and deep pockets.
New Sky is a popular yarn quality in alpaca, wool, and polyamide. The yarn gives the cardigan a beautiful, brushed look, which also helps to keep the cardigan light and airy.
The cardigan is relatively simple to knit, as it is knitted in a mock rib, where you only need to knit knit and purl stitches.
Note: The original design is made in Mayflower New Sky color 74, which unfortunately is discontinued. We think that color 76 could be a nice replacement. Just be aware that you will get a different color expression than in the picture. You can always click 'Choose another color' and find the color(s) you prefer the most.
