Mayflower Baby Alpaca is an extraordinarily soft yarn quality with a high content of alpaca fibers, which therefore feels absolutely wonderful against the skin. This exact fiber composition also makes Baby Alpaca very durable.

Alpaca is one of the most popular yarn fibers on the market, which we can well understand. Alpaca wool is significantly softer and warmer than sheep wool. Wool is naturally warm fibers, as they have insulating air pockets. Wool also has very good breathability, which allows the body to also get rid of excess heat.

In Baby Alpaca, the soft and warm alpaca wool is combined with polyamide in a carefully balanced ratio. The polyamide makes the yarn very durable, without compromising on good comfort.

With Baby Alpaca, you get knitted or crocheted clothing that is warm and comfortable to wear, without becoming too hot. Additionally, it can withstand the usual wear and tear from both daily use and washing.

You can use Baby Alpaca for many different types of knitting or crochet projects. The yarn is perfect for all types of clothing, including finer knitting or crocheting like shawls.
