Description

Christine Cardigan is knitted top-down with beautiful saddle shoulders and an interesting construction. The shoulder pieces are knitted first, after which stitches are picked up for the front and back pieces. Finally, the sleeves and collars are knitted on, so the cardigan is completely seamless.

The shoulders are knitted with a beautiful, simple pattern with ridges. This pattern continues all the way down along the sleeves, giving the cardigan a cohesive appearance where attention has been paid to details. As an added bonus, it is also quite easy to knit, even though the effect is so stunning.

Christine Cardigan is knitted with Mayflower Birmingham, which primarily consists of alpaca and wool. Additionally, the yarn has the most beautiful tweed speckles, giving the yarn plenty of personality and charm. The beautiful color play from the tweed perfectly matches the simple Christine Cardigan without drawing attention away from the cardigan's beautiful details.

The pattern is relatively simple to knit, and the different construction means that it is also an exciting project for experienced knitters.
