Knitted stripes are a wonderful and simple way to give a sweater lots of personality. We have utilized this in this lovely sweater, which is knitted with beautiful block stripes in two threads Mayflower Easy Care Classic. 

The sweater's block stripes have a charming retro expression, which has received a modern twist. The entire sweater is knitted in two threads Mayflower Easy Care Classic, but for the light purple stripes, a silver thread is also used. The silver thread is knitted in the first and last round of the light purple stripes, while the intermediate rounds are knitted exclusively with two threads Easy Care Classic in light purple. 

Easy Care Classic is medium-thick yarn in 100% pure wool with a running length of 106 meters per 50 grams. This makes this sweater a quick and easy knitting project, as it is knitted with two threads on needles 7 and 8.

The sweater in the picture is knitted in cerise, orange, and light purple, but you can also put your own touch on the sweater by choosing other colors. It is also an option to knit with two threads in different colors to create a beautiful mottled color effect. 

Note: The original design is made in Mayflower Easy Care Classic color 246. Unfortunately, the color has been discontinued. As a replacement, we recommend color 227, which resembles the discontinued color. Just be aware that you will get a different result than in the picture. You can choose colors yourself with a click on 'Choose another color', which unfolds the entire color chart.
