Along two sides of the knitting gauge, you can measure the size of your knitting needles - from size 2.0 up to 9.0 mm. If you can't get the knitting needle through the hole, try a larger hole until you can get it through. You have thus found the size of your knitting needle.
In the middle of the tool, there is an open area of 5 x 5 cm, which you can use to measure your Knitting gauge with.
