The sweater is knitted top-down with short rows and raglan increases, and on the body under the sleeves, there is a beautiful diagonal pattern that makes the sweater stand out. The sweater is knitted in stockinette stitch and has ribbed edges at the neckline, sleeves, and bottom of the sweater.

The sweater should be knitted in the shiny and really soft Mayflower Alliance, which is a lovely cotton blend. The yarn is light, fine, durable, and extremely soft, making it perfect for a children's sweater like this. The yarn can even be machine washed, which makes everyday life easier. With Alliance, you get a soft children's sweater.
