Lavender dress Pattern

Really cute, knee-length knitted dress with the finest color pattern and a charming tie band at the waist.

The Lavender Dress is easy to knit. It is knitted from the top down in stockinette with raglan increases. The neckline has a folded rib edge, and a good fit is created with short rows. The short sleeves and dress edge are finished with an i-cord, which gives a nice and defined look. In the waist, an i-cord string is knitted in, which can be tied in a bow at the back. The tie band is a really sweet detail for the dress, which, like the other edges of the dress, can even be knitted in a different color to make them stand out.

The tie band and edges are knitted in the solid Mayflower Baby Alpaca, where the dress itself is knitted in the beautiful Mayflower Taormina. The yarn has a truly unique color pattern, which really comes out beautifully in this dress. The many colors in the yarn mean that it is easy to match the dress with other items, such as finding tights and a cardigan that can be worn with the dress.

Taormina is a soft alpaca blend and is therefore a good choice for clothing, and really sweet in the soft Lavender Dress. The pattern covers sizes 2 - 8 years.
