The Lavender Dress is simple to knit. It is worked top down in stockinette stitch with raglan increases. The neck opening has a folded ribbed edge and short rows are used to create a snug fit. The short sleeves and dress hem are finished with i-cord for an attractive and distinctive look. An i-cord cord is knitted in at the waist and can be tied in a bow at the back. The tie is a really cute detail for the dress, which, like the other edges of the dress, is also knitted in a different color to make them stand out.

Tie and edges are worked in the solid color Mayflower Baby Alpaca, while the dress itself is knitted in the beautiful Mayflower Taormina.
