The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Sometimes simplicity is just better, which this lovely sweater is the perfect example of. The sweater is designed with smart raglan sleeves, which create the beautiful and distinctive details at the shoulders. This Pattern is perfect if you want to knit a sweater with minimal finishing, as the sleeves are knitted onto the sweater.
The sweater is knitted in Mayflower New Sky, which gives the sweater its light and fluffy appearance. The soft wool and alpaca blend is a good combination of warm and soft fibers. New Sky is available in a range of beautiful and atmospheric colors, all of which will suit the sweater's simple and timeless design well.
The pattern is relatively easy and therefore also beginner-friendly.
NOTE: The original design is made in Mayflower New Sky color 63, which unfortunately has been discontinued. We think that color 90 could be a nice replacement. Just be aware that you will get a different color expression than in the picture. You can always click 'Choose another color' and find the color(s) you like best.
