The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

With its simple design, this sweater can fit into any wardrobe. It's knitted from the bottom up with raglan sleeves, making it an easy knitting project with minimal assembly.
The raglan sleeves are particularly noteworthy as they are designed with a beautiful rib detail that starts at the shoulder and extends all the way down the sides of the sweater. These rib details are complimented by the ribbed edges along the edges and armholes of the blouse. The ribbed edge at the neck opening is also finished with a small turn-up.
We have made two different versions of the sweater. The pink sweater is knitted in Mayflower Easy Care, while the red and light gray are knitted in Mayflower Easy Care Tweed. The two yarn qualities have the same length and gauge, so all you have to do is decide whether you want to knit a sweater with or without tweed. Whichever yarn you choose, you'll get a lovely and comfortable sweater. Both yarns are soft and naturally breathable, and both yarns are machine washable.
