Let the child design their own jacket

Children generally love having a say and making their own decisions, and when you crochet or knit a jacket for a child, you have a golden opportunity to let the child design their own jacket.

It can be a really enjoyable experience to look at different patterns for crocheted and knitted jackets together with the child, and then you can choose the perfect color for the jacket together. Option for matching jackets for child and baby

Several of our patterns for knitted or crocheted jackets are available for both children and babies. This makes it possible to create matching jackets for siblings, even with a few years' age difference.

If you're considering making matching jackets for siblings, first consider whether they should be completely identical. Matching outfits can be cute, but on the other hand, it may be less personal. Alternatively, you could also consider choosing different colors for each child so that the jackets themselves are the same while the colors are different.
